Sony Ericsson Jalou fashion phone also available as a Dolce&Gabbana edition / 12.08.2009 06:19

Sony Ericsson Jalou, Dolce&Gabbana edition
People who are into fashion are not the only ones who appreciate beautiful design products. Practically all mobile phone companies, large and small, have tested the market with a fashion product. Most products disappear without leaving a trace into ordinary citizens' minds, but some, such as the Nokia 8800 series is still alive and well. We wonder what the fashion reporter Bruno would think about the new Sony Ericsson Jalou phone?

The Sony Ericsson Jalou fashion phone comes in two editions. The Jalou ordinary edition is available in three shiny colors; blue, black and purple. The Jalou Dolce&Gabbana edition has 24 carat gold plating, but it is rose-colored instead of plain gold. One of the highlights of the phone, which Bruno would love, is turning the color screen into a mirror. A dedicated feature lets you push a button and change the screen mode between display and mirror. The phone weighs only 84 grams.

The Sony Ericsson Jalou by Dolce&Gabbana includes some extra accessories; a headset with gold accents and three silky rose satin bags. Additionally, preinstalled photos and video clips feature Dolce&Gabbana’s women’s Autumn/Winter 2010 runway show items.

The technology and features on both editions of the Sony Ericsson Jalou are the same. It is a quad-band GSM phone and tri-band 3G UMTS phone. 3.2 megapixel camera lets you capture video clips. Stereo FM radio and MP3 player provide musical entertainment. Bluetooth is available for a wireless headset. A new feature, called Walk Mate, is a step counter that lets you measure distance you have walked (a good start for counting calorie consumption). Internet features include YouTube video viewing, Google search, Google maps, email, and picture messaging.
